Among a host of public and private sector companies in the country, six ‘National Safety Awards’ have been won by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) for outstanding achievements in terms of the longest accident free period and lowest accident frequency rate at their works. The awards were received by Shri Atul Sobti, Chairman & Managing Director, BHEL from Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Hon’ble Union Minister of State, Labour & Employment (Independent Charge), at a function in New Delhi.
