Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam won the Poorvi Nausena Kaman Rajbhasha Rolling Trophy for the year 2016-17 for exhibiting excellence in the field of implementation of the Official Language for the third consecutive year. Vice Admiral HCS Bisht PVSM, AVSM, ADC, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command (ENC) presented the trophy to Rear Admiral Narayan Prasad, Admiral Superintendent Naval Dockyard at the Half Yearly Command Staff Meeting held at Swarna Jyoti Auditorium, Visakhapatnam on 04 October 2017. The Runner-up Trophy for the year was awarded to INS Circars.
The Rolling Trophy is awarded every year to a Unit or Establishment which does maximum work in Hindi in accordance with the directives relating to implementation of Official Language, Hindi.
