BEML Limited, a defense Public Sector Undertaking (PSU), has achieved a turnover of Rs. 3839.19 Crores and a value of production of Rs. 3801.52 Crores in FY2022-23. The company’s Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the same period was Rs. 278.60 Crores, showing a growth of 35.41% compared to the previous year’s PBT of Rs. 205.74 Crores.
In the fourth quarter of FY2022-23, BEML recorded a PBT of Rs. 278.04 Crores, an increase of 35.20% from the corresponding period in the previous year when it was Rs. 205.65 Crores.
The Profit After Tax (PAT) for FY2022-23 was Rs. 158.78 Crores, demonstrating a growth of 17.97% compared to the previous year’s PAT of Rs. 134.59 Crores. In the fourth quarter of FY2022-23, the PAT increased to Rs. 158.22 Crores from Rs. 134.50 Crores in the corresponding period of the previous year, marking a growth of 17.64%. As of April 1, 2023, BEML’s order book position stood at Rs. 8570 Crores, indicating the value of orders the company has on hand.
