The National Startup Awards (NSA) were introduced by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in 2020. The applications for the National Startup Awards 2023 are now open since 1st April 2023, and the submission deadline has been extended to 15th June 2023.
The extension of the application deadline provides aspiring entrepreneurs and enablers with additional time to showcase their innovative solutions and the significant societal impact of their startups. The National Startup Awards 2023 aim to recognize innovations from all parts of the country, aligning with the vision of ‘Vision India @2047.’ This vision charts the path for India’s transformation into a developed economy, driven by the spirit of Amrit Kaal, focusing on key themes.
Winning startups in each category of the National Startup Awards 2023 will receive a cash prize of INR 10 lakhs. Additionally, the winners and finalists will receive exclusive support, including access to investors and government networks, mentorship programs, international market exposure, connections with corporates and unicorns, and other valuable resources.
In its three previous editions, these prestigious awards have highlighted the invaluable contributions of visionaries who have revolutionized the Indian startup ecosystem. The NSA aims to recognize and reward exceptional startups and enablers within the startup ecosystem that have fostered innovation, created groundbreaking products, and made a tangible social impact.
