Shri R Venkateshwarlu IPS (Telangana 2018), presently awaiting posting, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police – CAR Headquarters, Hyderabad City, Telangana. The latest order cancels the earlier orders posting him as Superintendent of Police, CID.

An officer of the 2018 batch of the Indian Police Service, Shri R Venkateshwarlu has been assigned a new responsibility within the Hyderabad City Police administration. His latest posting as Deputy Commissioner of Police, CAR Headquarters, places him in an important administrative and operational role within the city police establishment.

The CAR Headquarters is associated with the administration and management of the City Armed Reserve, an important component of the police force that provides support for law-and-order duties, security arrangements and other operational requirements.

In his new role, Shri Venkateshwarlu will be responsible for duties associated with the administration and functioning of the CAR Headquarters. The assignment requires coordination, organisational supervision and effective management of police resources.

The latest order also specifically cancels the earlier orders under which he had been posted as Superintendent of Police, CID. The revised posting places him in the Hyderabad City Police framework and assigns him responsibility for a specialised administrative formation.

The appointment represents an important responsibility for the officer and forms part of the latest changes in the Telangana Police administration. His experience as an IPS officer will be valuable in managing the organisational and operational requirements associated with the CAR Headquarters.
