Ms. Anu Kukreja, ICoAS, is an accomplished officer of the Indian Cost Accounts Service, known for her expertise in public finance, costing, and procurement. Currently serving as Director in the Ministry of Home Affairs, she plays a key role in financial oversight, cost analysis, and procurement frameworks, contributing to efficient resource utilization in critical government functions.
Prior to this, she served as Director (Finance) at the National Disaster Management Authority, where she was involved in strengthening financial systems and ensuring prudent management of funds for disaster preparedness and response. Her tenure reflected a balanced approach to fiscal discipline and operational effectiveness.
Ms. Kukreja also held the position of Joint Director in the Ministry of Finance, where she contributed to key financial policy matters. Earlier, as Deputy Director in the Department of Expenditure, she was engaged in appraisal and approval of public-funded schemes and projects, ensuring financial viability and accountability.
