Summary: Airports Authority of India conducted Vendor’s Meet – 2018 along with Independent External Monitors [IEMs]
Airports Authority of India [AAI] conducted Vendors Meet on 29.08.2018 at Indian Aviation Academy, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi in the august presence of Chairman, Chief Vigilance Officer, Board Members and Independent External Monitors [IEMs] of AAI.
The meeting was held in the auditorium and well attended by 125 representatives of vendors across varied disciplines i.e. Engg; Commercial, Communication, Navigation & Surveillance System, Information Technology & Airport Systems etc; from India as well as abroad.
The Vendors brought out various issues & questions related to tendering process, empanelment issues, pre-qualification requirement and payment terms etc. The issue of Integrity Pact Clauses, Make in India Policy and difficulties faced by foreign vendors were also raised.
Board Members of AAI, Shri Anuj Agarwal, M [HR], Shri IN Murthy, M [Ops] & Shri AK Pathak, M [Plng] addressed these issues along with the EDs of different disciplines with their responses.
Meet was initiated with the remarks of Shri RS Bhatti [IPS], Chief Vigilance Officer, AAI. IEMs Dr. Anup K Pujari, Retd. IAS and Shri MP Juneja, Ex. Member, Railway Board addressed and shared their experience and views with the participants with CMD Dr. Guruprasad Mohapatra [IAS] giving his concluding remarks.
