Minister of Culture, Tourism & Development of North Eastern Region Shri G. Kishan Reddy  has informed that Under the Scheme for Promotion of Culture of Science (SPoCS), National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, has developed a chain of Science Cities/ Science Centres/ Innovation Hubs throughout the Country.

As per the scheme guidelines, the projects are taken up on receipt of the proposal from State-Govt /UTs with commitments of encumbrance free land, cost of the project (capital & corpus), operation, manpower and management of the project etc.

List of new projects that are in progress in various States/UTs under SPoCS Scheme is attached at Annexure-A. A list of projects which have been approved by MoC and are in the pipeline is placed at Annexure-B.
