Indian Bureaucracy, Chandigarh, February 24, 2025| The Punjab government has transferred eight IAS officers, including six Deputy Commissioners. Shri Vineet Kumar has been appointed as the Managing Director of Punjab State Warehousing Corporation Ltd., while other officers have been reassigned to Deputy Commissioner roles in new cities across the state. Details of the officers and their respective new postings is list as follows,
- Shri Vineet Kumar IAS (Punjab 2012), presently Deputy Commissioner Faridkot, is transferred and appointed as Managing Director – Punjab State Warehousing Corporation Ltd., Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Punjab, relieving Smt Kanwal Preet Brar, IAS.
- Smt Poonamdeep Kaur IAS (Punjab 2013), presently Deputy Commissioner, Barnala, is transferred and appointed as Deputy Commissioner – Faridkot, Punjab, relieving Shri Vineet Kumar IAS.
- Smt Komal Mittal IAS (Punjab 2014), presently Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur, is transferred and appointed as Deputy Commissioner, SAS Nagar, Punjab, relieving Smt Aashika Jain IAS.
- Smt Aashika Jain IAS (Punjab 2015), presently Deputy Commissioner SAS Nagar is now the Deputy Commissioner – Hoshiarpur, Punjab, relieving Smt Komal Mittal IAS.
- Shri Parminder Pal Singh IAS (Punjab 2016), presently Project Director, World Bank Project, Department of School Education-cum-Special Secretary, School Education, with additional charge of Managing Director, Punjab Communications Limited (PUNCOM), is transferred and appointed as the Commissioner – Municipal Corporation, SAS Nagar, Punjab, relieving Shri T Benith IAS.
- Shri Ankurjeet Singh IAS (Punjab 2018) presently Chief Administrator, Jalandhar Development Authority, Jalandhar, Punjab, is transferred and appointed as Deputy Commissioner – Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Punjab, relieving Shri Rajesh Dhiman IAS.
- Shri T Benith IAS (Punjab 2018), presently Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, SAS Nagar, is transferred and appointed as has been posted as Deputy Commissioner – Barnala, Punjab, relieving Smt Poonamdeep Kaur IAS.
- Shri Viraj Shyamkarn Tidke IAS (Punjab 2018), presently Additional Deputy Commissioner General, SAS Nagar, is transferred and appointed as Deputy Commissioner – Malerkotla, Punjab relieving Smt Palavi IAS.
