RECAP || 6 IPS Transfers in Assam – Indian Bureaucracy Exclusive | The Assam Govt has transferred 6 Indian Administrative Service (IPS) Officers across the state with Dr L R Bishnoi IPS (1991) presently ADGP (CID), Assam now posted as Special DGP (T&AP), Assam with additional charge of the IG of Police (BTAD), Kokrajhar, Harmeet Singh IPS (1992) presently ADGP (Admin, Security, M&L), Assam posted as Guwahati Police Commissioner with additional charge of ADGP- Border, Munna Prasad Gupta IPS (1995) presently CP /ADGP (SB) Assam posted as ADGP- Vigilance and Anti-corruption with additional charge of ADGP- Administration and M&L, A Y V Krishna IPS (1995) posted as ADGP- Crime Investigation Department (CID), Hiren Chandra Nath IPS (1996) presently IGP(SB), Assam Guwahati posted as ADGP- SB with additional charges of ADGP- Special Task Force (STF) and ADGP- Security while Surendra Kumar IPS (1998) presently IGP (CID), Assam is now posted as IG- Modernisation, Planning & Coordination with additional charge of IG- Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Assam.
