Indian Bureaucracy, Bhopal, July 01, 2025 | In an important admirative move, the Government of Madhya Pradesh has transfers senior IAS officers. Shri Sanjeev Kumar Jha IAS has been appointed as the new Chief Electoral Officer of Madhya Pradesh, replacing Shri Sukh Veer Singh IAS, who moves to head the Public Works Department. The changes also include new assignments for Shri Vivek Kumar Porwal IAS, Shri Mukesh Chand Gupta IAS, Shri Raghuraj M R IAS, and Shri Anil Suchari IAS. Detailed list of officers with their current and new portfolios is given below.
- Shri Sanjeev Kumar Jha IAS (Madhya Pradesh 1996), presently Member, Revenue Board, MP, Gwalior, is transferred and appointed as Chief Electoral Officer – Madhya Pradesh, and, Ex Officio Principal Secretary – Law & Legislative Affairs Department (Election Work), Madhya Pradesh.
- Shri Sukh Veer Singh IAS (Madhya Pradesh 1997), presently Chief Electoral Officer, Madhya Pradesh, and Ex Officio Principal Secretary, Law & Legislative Affairs Department (Election Work), is transferred and appointed as Principal Secretary – Public Works Department (PWD), Madhya Pradesh, relieving Shri Neeraj Mandloi IAS of the additional charge.
- Shri Vivek Kumar Porwal IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2000), presently Principal Secretary, Revenue, with additional charge of Commissioner, Relief & Rehabilitation, is given additional charge of Principal Secretary – Technical Education, Skill Development & Employment, Madhya Pradesh.
- Shri Mukesh Chand Gupta IAS (Madhya Pradesh 1998), presently Secretary, Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission, Bhopal, is given additional charge of Member – Revenue Board, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
- Shri Raghuraj M R IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2004), presently Secretary, Technical Education, Skill Development & Employment, is transferred and appointed as Principal Secretary – Labour Department, Madhya Pradesh, relieving Shri Umakant Umrao IAS of the additional charge.
- Shri Anil Suchari IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2006), presently Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD), is transferred and appointed as Commissioner – Sagar Division, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh.
