37 IAS transfers in Uttar Pradesh today

In a bureaucratic rejig effected late today, the UP government has transferred 37 IAS Officers including 16 District Magistrates (DM).

Shri Anoop Chandra Pandey, the IIDC Commissioner credited with the success of the ‘UP Investors Summit 2018’has been given the additional charge of the NRI Department, besides the additional charge of Greater Noida. Shri Alok Sinha is the new Principal Secretary (Commercial Taxes). Shri Nitin R Gokarn has been made new Principal Secretary -Housing. Shri Mukul Singhal has been sent to the Silk Department.

Shri Rajiv Rautela, DM of Gorakhpur has been made Divisional Commissioner of Devipatan, whereas Shri Deepak Agarwal has been made the new Divisional Commissioner of Varanasi, while Shri C P Tripathi has been made the new Saharanpur Commissioner.

Senior level Indian bureaucrat Shri Rajeev Kapoor in waiting from Central Deputation has been given the charge as PICUP Chairman. Shri Alok Tandon has been given additional charge of Noida as its Chairman.

Shri Ravindra Naik appointed as Director- Industries, while Shri Pranjal Yadav has been made the new Director- Training and Ms. Saumya Agarwal given the charge as vice-Chairperson of Kanpur Development Authority (KDA).

Shri Chandra Bhushan Singh has been given the charge as Aligarh DM , Shri S V Ranga Rao as new Azamgarh Commissioner , Shri Shivakant Dwivedi has been made the new Azamgarh DM. Shri Rajendra Prasad is the new Bhadohi DM , Shri Krishna Karunesh -Balrampur DM, Shri Pramod Kumar Upadhyaya- Hapur DM , Shri Hemant Kumar- Amroha DM, Shri Navneet Chahal- Chandauli DM , Shri Rama Shankar Maurya – Hathras DM and Shri Amit Singh as the new Sonebhadra DM. Shri Bhawani Singh his the new Ballia DM, Ms Sheetal Verma has been appointed Sitapur DM, while Shri Akhilesh Kumar Mishra has been made Pilibhit DM.
