Indian Bureaucracy News, Bhopal, September 15, 2025| The Madhya Pradesh government on September 15, 2025, issued a transfer and posting order affecting 19 IAS officers across batches 2008 to 2021. The reshuffle includes senior appointments such as Vishesh Garhpale IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2008) being posted as Secretary of the Energy Department, and Vandana Vaidya IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2009) taking charge as Managing Director of MP Finance Corporation at Indore, with the post upgraded to Secretary rank. Several district-level postings have also been reshuffled, with changes among Zila Panchayat CEOs, municipal corporations, and key development bodies, alongside new appointments in Smart City projects, the State Wide Area Network (SWAN), and the Industrial Development Corporation.

List of officers with their present and new assignments is detailed below.

  1. Shri Vishesh Garhpale IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2008), presently awaiting posting, is appointed as Secretary – Energy Department, Madhya Pradesh.
  2. Smt Vandana Vaidya IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2009), presently Director, Tribal Area Development Planning, Bhopal, with additional charge of Managing Director, MP Employment & Training Council (MAPCET), Managing Director, MP ST Finance Development Corporation, Bhopal, and, Director, Tribal Research and Development, Madhya Pradesh, is transferred and appointed as Managing Director – MP Finance Corporation (MPFC), Indore, with the post upgraded and declared equivalent to the post of Secretary to the Government of Madhya Pradesh. She relieves Smt Tanuja Hooda IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2014) of the additional charge at MPFC.
  3. Shri Gajendra Singh Nagesh IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2016), presently CEO, Zila Panchayat, Singrauli, is transferred and appointed as CEO, Zila Panchayat, Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh.
  4. Shri Guru Prasad IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2017), presently Managing Director, State Wide Area Network (SWAN), Bhopal and Director, State Computer Security Incident Response Team (SCSIRT), Bhopal, is transferred and appointed as Deputy Secretary – Chief Secretary Office, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
  5. Shri Divyank Singh IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2017), presently CEO, Smart City, Indore, is transferred and appointed as Additional Commissioner – Urban Administration & Development, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
  6. Ms Tapasya Parihar IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2018), presently CEO, Zila Panchayat, Chhatarpur, is transferred and appointed as Commissioner – Katni Municipal Corporation, Madhya Pradesh.
  7. Shri Shishir Gemawat IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2018), presently CEO, Zila Panchayat, Katni, is transferred and appointed as Additional Commissioner – Urban Administration & Development, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
  8. Dr Neha Jain IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2018), presently CEO, Zila Panchayat, Sehore, is transferred and appointed as Deputy Director – Narmada Valley Development Department, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, with the post upgraded and declared equivalent to the post of Deputy Secretary to the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
  9. Shri Shreyans Kumat IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2019), presently CEO, Zila Panchayat, Mandla, is transferred and appointed as CEO – Zila Panchayat, Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.
  10. Shri Tanmay Vashistha Sharma IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2019), presently CEO, Zila Panchayat, Anuppur, is transferred and appointed as Additional Commissioner – Municipal Corporation, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, with the post upgraded and declared equivalent to the post of Deputy Secretary to the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
  11. Shri Dalip Kumar IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2019), presently CEO, Zila Panchayat, Narsinghpur, is transferred and appointed as Commissioner – Municipal Corporation, Dewas, Madhya Pradesh.
  12. Shri Vijay Navjivan Pawar IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2019), presently CEO, Zila Panchayat, Seoni, is transferred and appointed as Additional Collector – Indore, Madhya Pradesh, with the post upgraded and declared equivalent to the post of Deputy Secretary to the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
  13. Shri Anil Kumar Rathore IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2020), presently CEO, Zila Panchayat, Dindori, is transferred and appointed as Executive Director – Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation, Regional Office, Jabalpur, with the post upgraded and declared equivalent to the post of Deputy Secretary to the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
  14. Shri Anshuman Raj IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2020), presently CEO, Zila Panchayat, Sidhi, is transferred and appointed as Managing Director – State Wide Area Network (SWAN), Bhopal, with additional charge of Director – State Computer Security Incident Response Team (SCSIRT), Bhopal, with the post upgraded and declared equivalent to the post of Deputy Secretary to the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
  15. Shri Arth Jain IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2021), presently Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue), Jobat, Alirajpur district is transferred and appointed as CEO – Smart City, Indore, with the post upgraded and declared equivalent to the post of Deputy Secretary to the Government of Madhya Pradesh, with additional charge of Additional Commissioner – Municipal Corporation, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
  16. Shri Arvind Kumar Shah IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2021), presently Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue), Shahdol, is transferred and appointed as Additional Commissioner – Municipal Corporation, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, with the post upgraded and declared equivalent to the post of Deputy Secretary to the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
  17. Shri T Prateek Rao IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2021), presently Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue), Itarsi, Narmadapuram district, is transferred and appointed as Additional Commissioner – Municipal Corporation, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, with the post upgraded and declared equivalent to the post of Deputy Secretary to the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
  18. Ms Anisha Shrivastav IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2021), presently Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue), Pipariya, Narmadapuram District, , is transferred and appointed as Executive Director – Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation, Regional Office, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, with the post upgraded and declared equivalent to the post of Deputy Secretary to the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
  19. Smt Anju Arun Kumar IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2017), presently CEO, Smart City, Bhopal, is given additional charge of Additional Commissioner – Municipal Corporation, Bhopal.
