18 Additional Secretary Appointments at the Centre

Additional Secretary appointments at the Centre – Indian Bureaucracy Exclusive | The Centre has appointed 18 Indian Bureaucrats to the Additional Secretary Level with immediate effect , the names of the officers are :

1. Shri Sanjeev Kumar Jindal CSS (1989) presently Joint Secretary, Department of Home, Ministry of Home Affairs has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Home, Ministry of Home Affairs.
2. Shri Asit Gopal IFoS (Madhya Pradesh 1990) presently Commissioner, Eklavya Model Residential School, National Educational Society for Tribal Students, Ministry of Tribal Affairs has been appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Textiles .
3. Ms. Tripti Gurha IRTS (1993) presently Joint Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development.
4. Shri Samir Kumar Sinha IAS (Assam Meghalaya 1994) presently in the cadre has been appointed as Additional Secretary & Director General (Acquisition), Department of Defence.
5. Shri Bharat Harbanslal Khera IAS (Himachal Pradesh 1995) presently in the cadre has been appointed  as Additional Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution.
6. Shri Chandra Bhushan Kumar IAS (AGMUT 1995) presently in the cadre has been appointed as Additional Secretary & Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission, Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation .
7. Ms. Puja Singh Mandol IA&AS (1995) presently Joint Director General, Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation .
8. Ms Shubha Thakur CSS (1989) presently Joint Secretary, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare.
9. Ms Sanjukta Mudgal IFoS (Madhya Pradesh 1990) presently Joint Secretary, Ministry of Culture has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Culture.
10. Shri Anant Swarup IRPS (1992) presently Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry.
11. Shri Navaljit Kapoor IRS (IT 1992) presently Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
12. Shri Manoj Pandey IRS (IT 1992), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
13. Shri Rahul Navin IRS (IT 1993) presently Special Director, Directorate of Enforcement has been appointed as Special Director, Directorate of Enforcement in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary.
