Indian Bureaucracy, Hyderabad, November 11, 2024| The Telangana Government today announced a transfer of 13 IAS officers in a significant reshuffle, with several senior officers being appointed to key administrative roles across various departments. Among the notable appointments, Shri Sanjay Kumar (1995) has been appointed as the Labour Commissioner, while Smt. Smita Satbarwal (2001) takes over as the new Secretary of Youth Advancement, Tourism and Culture. Shri E Sridhar (2004) has been given the additional charge of Commissioner – Endowment, and Dr. Gaurav Uppal (2005) will now serve as the Secretary of Coordination for GOI Projects. Additionally, Dr. Ilambarithi K (2005) has been appointed as the new Commissioner of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. These appointments are part of the government’s efforts to streamline governance and strengthen administrative operations across the state.

- Smt Smita Satbarwal IAS (Telangana 2001), presently Member Secretary, Telangana State Finance Commission, is transferred and appointed as Secretary – Youth Advancement, Tourism and Culture (YAT & C) Department, relieving Shri N Sridhar IAS (Telangana 1997) from Additional Charge of the said post.
- Shri E Sridhar IAS (Telangana 2004), presently Commissarer, Prohbaion & Excise, is transferred and appointed as Secretary – BC Welfare Department, with additional charge of Commissioner – Endowment. His appointment as Secretary – BC Welfare Department relieves Shri B Venkatesham IAS (Telangana 1995) from from Additional Charge of the said post. His taking additional charge as Commissioner – Endowment relieves Shri Zendage Hanunant Kondba IAS (Telangana 2016) from the additional charge of the post.
- Smt Anita Ramachandran IAS (Telangana 2004), presently Commissioner, PR & RD, is transferred and appointed as Secretary – Women and Child Welfare (WCD) & Scheduled Caste Development (SC) Department, relieving Dr T KSreedevi IAS (Telangana 2004) from Additional Charge of the said post.
- Dr Ilambarithi K IAS (Telangana 2005), presently Commissioner, Transport is transferred and appointed as Commissioner – Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
- Shri K Surendra Mohan IAS (Telangana 2006), presently Secretary, Mines & Geology, I&C Department is given additional responsibility of Commissioner – Transport, relieving Dr Ilambarithi K IAS (Telangana 2005) transferred.
- Shri Chevvuru Hari Kiran IAS (Telangana 2009), presently awaiting posting, is appointed as Director, Probation & Excise, relieving Shri E Shridhar IAS (Telangana 2004).
- Shri D Krishna Bhaskar IAS (Telangana 2012), presently Special Secretary to Deputy CM with additional charge of the post of Special Secretary, Finance & Planning, is transferred and appointed CMD – TRANSCO, with additional charge of the post Special Secretary to Deputy CM. He relieves Shri Sandeep Kumar Sultania IAS (Telangana 1998) from additional charge of CMD – TRANSCO.
- Shri Siva Sankar Lotheti IAS (Telangana 2013), presently awaiting posting, appointed CEO – Arogyasn Health Care Trust, relieving Shri R V Karnan IAS (Telangana 2012) from additional charge of the post.
- Smt Srijana G IAS (Telangana 2013) presently awaiting posting, appointed as Director – PR & RD, relieving Smt Anita Ramachandran IAS (Telangana 2004).
- Smt Chittem Lakshmi IAS (Telangana 2013), presently awaiting posting, is appointed as Director – AYUSH, relieving Dr Christina Z Chongthu IAS(Telangana 2001).
- Shri Krishna Aditya S IAS (Telangana 2014), presently Director, Labour, is transferred and appointed as Director – Intermediate Education & Secretary, Board of Intermediate Education, with additional charge of the post of VC & MD – Telangana Education & Welfare Infrastructure Development Corporation (TGWEIDC). With this appointment, he relieves Smt A Sridevasena IAS (Telangana 2008) from additional charge of the post of – Intermediate Education & Secretary Board of Intermediate Education and Shri E V Narsimha Reddy, IAS (Telangana 2017) from additional charge of the post of VC & MD, TGWEIDC.
