13 IAS Reshuffle in Uttarakhand, See Detailed List Here

Indian Bureaucracy, Dehradun, November 29, 2024| The Government of Uttarakhand, through a late evening communiqué, issued orders for the transfer and reassignment of additional responsibilities for thirteen IAS officers. This initiative is intended to optimize departmental alignment, enhance administrative efficiency, and ensure seamless interdepartmental coordination. The details of the officers and their newly assigned portfolios are as follows.

1. Shri Lalrin Liana Fanai IAS (Uttarakhand 1997), presently Principal Secretary, Minority Welfare; Food & Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department; Excise Department, with additional charge of Chairman Minority Welfare and Waqf Development Corporation and Chairperson, Uttarakhand Transport Corporation, is relieved of additional charge of Chairman Minority Welfare and Waqf Development Corporation. He will continue as Principal Secretary – Excise Department and Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department with additional charge as the Chairman of the State Transport Department.
2. Shri Ranveer Singh Chauhan IAS (Uttarakhand 2009), presently Additional Secretary, Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, Drinking Water, Project Director Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) Project, Project Director Namami Gange, with additional charge of Director General Agriculture and Horticulture Department, Uttarakhand, is relieved of the charges of Additional Secretary, Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, Drinking Water and Director General Agriculture and Horticulture Department and appointed Additional Secretary –  Sugar & Sugarcane Development and MD – Sugar Federation, Uttrakhand, with additional charge of Project Director – Namami Gange and Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW).
3. Shri Dheeraj Singh Garbiyal IAS (Uttarakhand 2009), presently Additional Secretary Rural Development, Public Works and Commissioner Rural Development, is transferred and appointed Additional Secretary – Additional Secretary and Chairman – Minority Welfare and Waqf Development Corporation, Uttrakhand.
4. Shri Uday Raj Singh IAS (Uttarakhand 2010), presently District Magistrate, Udham Singh Nagar, MD Uttarakhand Seeds & Tarai development Corporation (UKS&TDC), with additional charge of Additional Secretary –  Sugar & Sugarcane Development and MD – Sugar Federation, transferred and appointed as Additional Secretary –  Sugar & Sugarcane Development and MD – Sugar Federation, Uttrakhand.
5. Shri Anand Swaroop IAS (Uttarakhand 2010), presently Additional Secretary, State Disaster Management Authority, with additional charge Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, State Election Commission and Project Director of – Uttarakhand Disaster Recovery Project (UDRP), Uttarakhand Emergency Assistance Project (UEAP), UDRP – Additional Funding, Additional DG – Uttarakhand Landslide Mitigation And Management Centre, Additional Programme Director (Admin) – Project Management Unit, Uttarakhand Disaster Preparedness and Resilience Project (U-PREPARE), Programme Manager -Project Implementation Unit (PIU), Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority (USDMA) and Programme Manager – Project Implementation Unit (PIU), Rural Works Department, Uttarakhand, is relieved of Additional Secretary, Agriculture and Farmer Welfare and given additional charge of the post of Additional Secretary – Planning Department, Uttarakhand.
6. Shri Vijaykumar Jogdande IAS (Uttarakhand 2012), presently Additional Secretary, Ayush Department, with additional charge of Planning Department, Milk and Dairy Development, Staff Officer to Principal Secretary, Uttarakhand, is relieved of the charge of Additional Secretary Planning Department, and given additional charge of Additional Secretary – Excise Department, Uttarakhand.
7. Smt Reena Joshi IAS (Uttarakhand 2013), presently Additional Secretary, Department of  Personnel and Vigilance, with additional charge of Department of Irrigation and Minor Irrigation, is relieved of the additional charge of Irrigation and Minor Irrigation and given additional charge as MD – Uttarakhand Transport Corporation.
8. Dr Anand Srivastava IAS (Uttarakhand 2013), presently Additional Secretary, Revenue with additional charge of Department of Medical Health And Family Welfare, CEO, State Health Authority, Uttarakhand, MD, Uttarakhand Transport Corporation, relieved of additional charge of MD, Uttarakhand Transport Corporation.
9. Shri Manuj Goyal IAS (Uttarakhand 2014), presently Additional Secretary, Rural Department, with additional charge of APD, ILSP, Project Director, Uttarakhand Gramya Vikas Samiti (UGVS) – REAP, is given additional charge of Additional Secretary Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, Uttarakhand.
10. Smt Anuradha Pal IAS (Uttarakhand 2016), presently Additional Secretary, Medical Health and Medical Education, given additional charge of Additional Secretary – Rural Development and Commissioner – Rural Development, Uttarakhand.
11. Shri Gaurav Kumar IAS (Uttarakhand 2017), presently, Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Dehradun, Uttarakhand, is given additional charge of Additional Secretary – Social Welfare Department, Uttarakhand.
12. Smt Apurva Pandey IAS (Uttarakhand 2018), presently Additional Secretary, Drinking Water, with additional charge of Secretary RERA and Uttarakhand RERA Appellate Tribunal, is relieved of the additional charge of Secretary RERA and Uttarakhand RERA Appellate Tribunal and given additional charge of Additional Secretary – Home, Uttarakhand.
13. Shri Abhinav Shah IAS (Uttarakhand 2019), presently Chief Development Officer, Dehradun, with additional charge of Director, Herbal Research and Development Institute (HRDI), Gopeshwar is relieved of the additional charge HRDI.
