Indian Bureaucracy News Network, Kolkata, October 17, 2025| In a routine administrative reshuffle, the West Bengal government has transferred six IAS officers, appointing a new Secretary to the Department of Industry, Commerce & Enterprises and implementing changes in key field postings across Medinipur, Hooghly, Dakshin Dinajpur, and Kalimpong.
- Dr Godala Kiran Kumar IAS (West Bengal 2005), presently Secretary, Science & Technology and Biotechnology Department, West Bengal, is transferred and appointed as Divisional Commissioner – Medinipur, West Bengal.
- Smt Mukta Arya IAS (West Bengal 2008), presently District Magistrate, Hooghly, is transferred and appointed as Secretary – Industry, Commerce & Enterprises Department, West Bengal.
- Shri Bijin Krishna IAS (West Bengal 2012), presently District Magistrate, Dakshin Dinajpur, is transferred and appointed as District Magistrate – Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal.
- Shri Khursheed Ali Qadri IAS (West Bengal 2013), presently District Magistrate, Paschim Medinipur, is transferred and appointed as District Magistrate – Hooghly, West Bengal.
- Shri Balasubramanian T IAS (West Bengal 2013), presently District Magistrate, Kalimpong, is transferred and appointed as District Magistrate, Dakshin Dinajpur.
- Smt Kuhuk Bhushan IAS (West Bengal 2015), presently Special Secretary, Panchayat & Rural Development Department, West Bengal, with additional charge of State Mission Director and Chief Executive Officer, West Bengal State Rural Livelihood Mission, is transferred and appointed as District Magistrate – Kalimpong, West Bengal.
