Shri Visvanathan Muralidharan has taken charge as General Manager (Finance) at the Corporate Office of Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL).Mr V Muralidharan is a Management Accountant of the 1987 batch of the Chartered Management Accountants Institute, UK. He joined BEL in July 1989 after a brief stint with Life Insurance Corporation of India. He also possesses additional qualification in Management and Insurance.
Mr V Muralidharan has served BEL in various capacities, both at the Company’s Bangalore Complex and Corporate Office. He has handled diverse areas of Finance like Costing, Budgeting, Compilation and Treasury. He has rich experience in Treasury Management and handling complex issues with banks/financial institutions and credit rating agencies. He has been instrumental in bringing about several systemic changes in Treasury Management in the Company. He has also handled a few Capital Restructuring exercises like Bonus, Buyback and Stock Split. He is also a member of the Corporate Risk Management Committee.
