Dr. Virendra Kumar assumed the charge of Minister of State in the Ministry of Women and Child Development; and Minister of State in the Ministry of Minority Affairs. in the presence of Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Union Minister of Minority Affairs. Speaking on this occasion Dr. Virendra Kumar said that the skill development of minority communities will be our priority.
Dr. Virendra Kumar is the member of Lok Sabha from Tikamgarh (Madhya Pradesh). He is 6th time Lok Sabha member (represented Sagar constituency for 11th, 12th, 13th & 14th Lok Sabha & Tikamgarh Constituency for 15th & 16th Lok Sabha).
Dr. Kumar was born on 27th February 1954 and is Post Graduate in Economics and PhD in Child Labour from Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar.
