Indian Bureaucracy News, New Delhi, March 23, 2026 | Shri Vinod P Kavle IAS (AGMUT 2008), presently Commissioner & Secretary, Excise & Narcotics, Mizoram, is given additional charge of Director of Census Operations and Director of Citizen Registration (DCO/DCR), Mizoram, on central deputation basis for a period of three years under Central Staffing Scheme (order dated 23.03.2026).
Shri Vinod Parashuram Kavle is a 2008-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the AGMUT cadre, hailing from Maharashtra. An engineering graduate in Mechanical Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai, he also holds a Master of Management Studies (MMS) in Operations Research from NMIMS, Mumbai, graduating with distinction.
Over the years, he has built a diverse administrative profile across key sectors including social welfare, food and civil supplies, tourism, and general administration. He has held important assignments in the National Capital Territory of Delhi, Chandigarh, and other AGMUT cadre postings, handling policy implementation and governance at both field and secretariat levels.
