Shri Vineet Satyanarayanan Nair IDES (2011) has been appointed as Director – Ministry
of Home Affairs under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years .
Shri Vineet Satyanarayanan Nair, born on 28th June 1983, is a dedicated officer who joined the civil services on 19th December 2011. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Public Administration, bringing together technical proficiency and a strong understanding of governance and policy frameworks.
Over the years, Shri Nair has demonstrated a consistent commitment to public service, marked by his analytical approach and people-centric vision. On 20th April 2023, he was appointed as Deputy Director General in the Directorate of Education, Delhi Cantonment, where he officially assumed charge on 25th July 2023. In this role, he has been contributing significantly to the enhancement of educational administration, focusing on quality delivery, institutional strengthening, and effective implementation of education policies.
