The Joint Commissioner of Police – CP Secretariat-cum-Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Commissioner of Police, Delhi, holds a pivotal administrative and coordination role within the Delhi Police Headquarters. This position functions as the key link between the Commissioner of Police and various senior officers, government departments, and external agencies. The officer assists the Commissioner in policy formulation, strategic planning, and implementation of key directives across all divisions. The CP Secretariat manages correspondence, prepares briefings, coordinates meetings, and ensures timely execution of instructions from the top leadership. As OSD, the officer oversees special assignments, monitors priority projects, and supports the Commissioner in maintaining operational efficiency and administrative discipline. The Secretariat also handles protocol matters, documentation, and confidential communications. Under the leadership of the Joint CP (CP Secretariat-cum-OSD), the office ensures smooth functioning of the Commissioner’s Secretariat, facilitating effective decision-making and seamless organizational coordination within Delhi Police.
