Indian Railway Finance Corporation Limited (IRFC) was incorporated under the Indian Companies Act, 1956 with the objective to bridge the gap in plan fund needs of Ministry of Railways and to meet its ”Extra Budgetory Resources” requirement by raising resources from capital market in India and abroad at the most competitive rates and terms as per annual targets given by the Ministry of Railways. IRFC is a Schedule-”A” /Miniratna CPSE in Financial Services sector under the administrative control of Ministry of Railways.

Director (Finance) is a member of the Board of Directors and reports to Chairman & Managing
Director. He/She is overall in charge of the finance and accounts functions of the organization and
is responsible for evolving and formulating finance policies as well as implementation thereof.
