Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited (HOCL) was incorporated under the Indian Companies Act, 1956 with the objective of setting up for chemicals manufacturing units for production of organic chemicals and chemical intermediates. It is a Schedule ‘B’ CPSE, listed on BSE and is with the administrative jurisdiction of Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals under the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers. The Company has two units viz. at Rasayani, District Raigad, Maharashtra and at Ambalamugal, Kochi, Kerala.

The Chairman & Managing Director is the Chief Executive of the Corporation and accountable to its Board of Directors and Government of India. He/She is responsible for the efficient functioning of the Corporation and for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters.
