UP Police Reshuffle, New ADCP for HC Security, Lucknow Commissionerate

Indian Bureaucracy News, Lucknow, January 04, 2026 | The Uttar Pradesh Police has carried out five (05) intra-commissionerate postings within the Lucknow Police Commissionerate, reassigning officers across traffic management, court security, territorial policing, and cybercrime units. The reshuffle involves officers at the ADCP and ACP levels and is confined to the commissionerate. Senior officers have been rotated between citywide and security-sensitive assignments, while mid- and junior-level officers have been placed in roles that expand operational exposure. The changes redistribute responsibilities across critical verticals, traffic and cyber policing functions, and maintain continuity within the existing command and administrative framework.

Details of officers with their present and new postings is listed below.

  1. Shri Ashok Kumar Singh PPS (2006), presently in the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police (SP) and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP), Traffic, Police Commissionerate, Lucknow, is transferred and appointed as ADCP, High Court Security, Police Commissionerate, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
  2. Shri Raghvendra Singh PPS (2007), presently in the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police (SP) and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP), High Court Security, Police Commissionerate, Lucknow, is transferred and appointed as ADCP – Traffic, Police Commissionerate, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
  3. Smt Saumya Pandey PPS (2014), presently in the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and posted as ACP, Women Crime and Social Media, Police Commissionerate, Lucknow, is given additional charge of ACP – Cyber Cell (Cyber Crime), Police Commissionerate, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
  4. Shri Shashi Prakash Mishra PPS (2023), presently in the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and posted as Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Police Commissionerate, Lucknow, is transferred and appointed as ACP – Traffic, Police Commissionerate, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
  5. Shri Surendra Sharma PPS (2024), presently in the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and posted as ACP, Traffic, Police Commissionerate, Lucknow, is transferred and appointed as ACP – Aliganj, Police Commissionerate, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
