Indian Bureaucracy News, Lucknow, September 16, 2025|The Uttar Pradesh government has transferred seven IPS officers, including reassigning Shri Dev Ranjan Verma IPS (2011) as DIG, Training Directorate, DGPHQ, cancelling his earlier posting as DIG, Establishment. The state transferred six Superintendents of Police to high-density districts including Kanpur, Noida, and Ghaziabad.

List of officers with there present and new postings is listed below.

  1. Shri Dev Ranjan Verma IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2011), presently Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Rules & Manuals, Lucknow, is transferred and appointed as DIG – Training Directorate, Lucknow, and the immediate preceding transfer order as DIG, Establishment, DGP Headquarters (DGPHQ), Lucknow, stands cancelled.
  2. Dr Satish Kumar IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2013), presently Commander, SDRF, Lucknow, is transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) – Establishment, DGPHQ, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
  3. Shri Abhijeet Kumar IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2020), presently Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Police Commissionerate, Prayagraj, is transferred and appointed as Additional Superintendent of Police – Meerut Rural, Meerut District, Uttar Pradesh.
  4. Shri Atul Kumar Srivastava IPS (Uttar Pradesh), presently Superintendent of Police (SP), Rampur, is transferred and appointed as SP – Police Commissionerate, Kanpur Nagar City, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
  5. Smt Mamta Rani Chaudhary IPS (Uttar Pradesh), presently Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Police Commissionerate, Lucknow, is transferred and appointed as DCP – Police Commissionerate, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
  6. Shri Shailendra Kumar Singh IPS (Uttar Pradesh), presently SP, Amethi, is transferred and appointed as SP – Police Commissionerate, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.
  7. Shri Trigun Bisen IPS (Uttar Pradesh), presently SP, Firozabad, is transferred and appointed as SP – Police Commissionerate, Ghaziabad.
