Sudarshan Bhagat takes charge as new MoS – Agriculture & Farmers Welfare

Shri Sudarshan Bhagat took over charge as the new Minister of State for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare here . Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that his focus will be to increase the production of food grains with less production cost as well dairy products so that farmers may get doubled income.

The Minister represents Lohardaga (Jharkhand) Parliamentary constituency in Lok Sabha. Shri Bhagat was the member of 15th Lok Sabha (2009-2014). Shri Bhagat was a member of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly from 2000-2005. Shri Bhagat was Minister of State for Human Resources (2000-2003) and C.M Secretariat (Independent Charge) (2003-2004) in Government of Jharkhand. Shri Bhagat served as Cabinet Minister of Welfare (2004-2005) Government of Jharkhand.

Shri Bhagat was born on 20th Oct 1969 & is a Graduate. Shri Bhagat has been member of various Parliamentary committees.
