PIB News Update: Goa Postal Division will be releasing a Special Cover and Special Cancellation “To Fight COVID-19 Protect Your Mental Health” on 09.11.2020. The proponent of this Special Cover and Special Cancellation is Goa Philatelic & Numismatic Society.
Goa Postal Division will also be releasing a Special Cancellation with slogan “To Fight COVID-19 collaborate in contact tracing” on 09.11.2020. This Special cancellation will be impressed upon all the articles posted at the Panaji Head Post Office and Margao Head Post Office in the Goa Division. For Panaji Head Post Office cancellation will be available for 05 days i.e. 09/11/2020 to 13/11/2020 and Margao Head Post Office cancellation will be available for 05 days i.e. 17/11/2020 to 21/11/2020. This Special cancellation is expected to increase public awareness regarding contact tracing to prevent the further spread of COVID-19.
