The Ministry of Textiles actively participated in the Special Campaign 2.0 for Disposal of Pending Matters (SCDPM) and Swachhata Drive with great enthusiasm. The campaign aimed to achieve various objectives, including minimizing pendency, institutionalizing cleanliness, strengthening record management, and digitizing physical records.

Throughout the period from December 2022 to August 2023, the Ministry, along with its Subordinate and Attached offices, Autonomous Bodies, Statutory Bodies, and CPSEs, actively engaged in the campaign. The focus was on sensitizing nodal officers, identifying pending matters in selected categories, managing records, and disposing of scrap materials. The campaign was successfully executed through enthusiastic participation, regular monitoring, and active involvement of field offices.

Here are some key achievements of the campaign:

  • 3441 files were weeded out.
  • 896 Public Grievances and Appeals were redressed.
  • 333 Cleanliness Campaigns were conducted.
  • 1194 sq. ft. of space was freed.
  • Revenue of Rs. 66,308 was generated through scrap disposal.
