Sikkim Govt Assigns SCS Officers to Key Roles in Lokayukta, Election Commission and More

Indian Bureaucracy, Gangtok, December 09, 2024| The Sikkim government has issued a notification appointing four Sikkim Civil Service (SCS) officers as Secretaries to key institutions, including the Sikkim Lokayukta, the State Election Commission, the Sikkim Public Service Commission, and the Sikkim Information Commission. The following are the details of the officers and their respective new appointments.

1. Ms Kincho Doma Lepcha SCS, presently, Special Secretary, Lokayukta, Sikkim, is appointed as Secretary – Lokayukta, Sikkim.
2. Ms Yishey Doma Yongda SCS, presently, District Collector, Gyalshing District, Land Revenue and Disaster Management (LR & DM) Department, appointed Secretary – State Election Commission, Sikkim.
3. Ms Yangchen D Tamang SCS, presently, Controller of Examination, Sikkim Public
   Service Commission, is appointed as Secretary – Sikkim Public Service Commission with
   additional charge of Controller of Examination, Sikkim Public Service Commission.
4. Mr Bhim Bahadur Thatal SCS, presently, Director, Higher Education, Education
   Department, is appointed as Secretary – Sikkim Information Commission.
