Shri Shailendra Kumar Goel IRSSE (1982), Indian Railway Service of Signal Engineers Officer presently Principal Chief Signal & Telecom Engineer, Southern Railway, has been appointed as Director General, Indian Railways Institute of Signal Engineering and Telecommunications (IRISET). Shri Goel started his career on Indian Railways in 1984 as Assistant Signal & Telecom Engineer and in over three decades of service, has held several important assignments on Indian Railways. He also served as Executive Director, Signal Projects, Railway Board and Executive Director, RailTel Corporation, Southern Region, Secunderabad. Shri Goel has also worked as Chief Signal & Telecom Engineer (Projects), South Central Railway. Shri Goel during his tenure as Executive Director, Railway Board underwent Advance Strategic Management Program at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, United States of America.
