Shri Shahid Ahmad, IAS, an officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, has been transferred and appointed as the Chief Development Officer (CDO) of Shravasti, Uttar Pradesh. Prior to this, he was serving as the Joint Magistrate in Basti, where he contributed to district-level administration with diligence and a focus on effective governance.
A graduate of St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, Shri Ahmad holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Chemistry, having passed with First Division—a testament to his academic discipline and analytical acumen.
Though early in his administrative journey, Shri Ahmad has already demonstrated a strong grasp of developmental priorities and district administration.
