The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the following appointments at the Secretary Level with immediate effect , the names of the officers are :
- Ms. Rachna Shah IAS (Kerala 1991) presently Secretary- Ministry of Textiles has been appointed as Secretary- Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions.
- Shri Arunish Chawla IAS (Bihar 1992) presently Secretary- Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers has been appointed as Secretary- Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance with additional charge of Secretary- Ministry of Culture till the appointment of a regular incumbent .
- Shri Vineet Joshi IAS (Manipur 1992) presently in the cadre has been appointed as Secretary- Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education.
- Shri Sanjay Sethi IAS (Maharashtra 1992) presently in the cadre has been appointed as Secretary- National Commission for Minorities, Ministry of Minority Affairs ( rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India).
- Ms. Neelam Shammi Rao IAS (Madhya Pradesh 1992) presently Secretary- National Commission for Minorities, Ministry of Minority Affairs has been appointed as Secretary- Ministry of Textiles .
- Shri Amit Agrawal IAS (Chhattisgarh 1993) presently Chief Executive Officer- Unique Identification Authority of India has been appointed as Secretary- Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers .
- Ms. Neerja Sekhar IAS (Haryana 1993) presently Special Secretary- Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has been appointed as Director General- National Productivity Council, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade ( rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India).
