7 IAS Transfers in Assam – Indian Bureaucracy Exclusive | The Himanta Biswa Sarma Govt has reshuffled 7 IAS Officers across the state wth immediate effect, the names of the officers are :
- Shri Paban Kumar Borthakur IAS (1989) presently Additional Chief Secretary- Transformation & Development, Cultural Affairs and Tourism Departments and Chairman- Assam Administrative Tribunal given additional charge as Additional Chief Secretary- Sports & Youth Welfare Department.
- Shri Siddharth Singh IAS (2005) presently Commissioner & Secretary- Health & Family Welfare Department given additional charge as Commissioner & Secretary- Sports & Youth Welfare Department .
- Shri Rakesh Agarwal IAS (2009) presently Commissioner of Excise, Assam given additional charge as Managing Director- Assam Tea Corporation.
- Shri Pabitra Ram Khaund IAS (2010) presently Director- Sports & Youth Welfare, Assam transferred as Secretary- Irrigation Department.
- Shri Umananda Doley IAS (2010) presently Secretary – Guwahati Development Department transferred as Secretary- Welfare of Bodoland Department.
- Shri Adil Khan IAS (2011) presently Commissioner – Transport, State Project Director- Assam Inland Water Transport Development Society & MD- AIDC given additional charge as MD- Assam Skill Development Mission.
- Dr Sadnek Singh IAS (2014) presently APO now appointed as Joint Secretary- Transport Department, Assam.
