Industry is a State subject, hence no centralized data regarding setting up of heavy/small industries for unemployed people is maintained in the Department of Heavy Industry (DHI). The role of DHI is confined to the administration of Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) and Sectors under its administrative control.
