Eight Secretary Level Appointments – The ACC has appointed 8 IAS Officers to the Centre , the list of the names are :
Shri Subrata Gupta IAS (West Bengal 1990) presently in the cadre has been appointed as Secretary- Ministry of Food Processing Industries vice Ms. Anita Praveen IAS (TN:89) upon her superannuation on 30.11.2024.
Shri S Gopalakrishnan IAS (Tamil Nau 1991) presently Director General- National Productivity Council, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade has been appointed as Chairman- Staff Selection Commission in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India vice Shri Rakesh Ranjan IAS (MN:92) upon his voluntary retirement from the service w.e.f. 31.10.2024 .
Shri Puneet Kumar Goel IAS (AGMUT 1991) presently in the cadre has been appointed as Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Tribes, Ministry of Tribal Affairs in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India.
Shri Tanmay Kumar IAS (Rajasthan 1993) presently Special Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change vice Ms. Leena Nandan, IAS (UP:87) upon her superannuation on 31.12.2024.
Shri V Umashankar IAS (Haryana 1993) presently in the cadre has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
Shri Vikram Dev Dutt IAS (AGMUT 1993) presently Director General- Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Coal.
Shri Surendra Kumar Bagde IAS (Maharashtra 1993) presently Additional Secretary, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs has been appointed as Director General- National Centre for Good Governance, Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India.
Ms. Neerja Sekhar IAS (Haryana 1993) Additional Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting as Special Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. (in the rank and pay of Secretary)
