Indian Bureaucracy, October 19, 2024, Guwahati | The Government of Assam today upgraded rank of five IAS officers of 2015 batch to the rank of Secretary.
Shri Megha Nidhi Dahal IAS (Assam 2015), presently Commissioner of Guwahati Municipal Corporation with additional charge of Commissioner, Transport, Assam, has been appointed to the rank of Secretary to the Government of Assam. He will continue with his present postings.
Shri Rohan Kumar Jha IAS (Assam 2015), presently District Commissioner, Barpeta is posted as District Commissioner, Barpeta in the rank of Secretary to the Govt. of Assam.
Shri P Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy IAS (Assam 2015), presetly Additional Secretary Transformation & Development Department and additional charge of CEO – SITA, is posted as Secretary Transformation & Development Department with additional charge of CEO SITA.
Shri Hivare Nisarg Gautam IAS (Assam 2015), presently District Commissioner, Hailakandi will continue as the District Commissioner, Hailakandi in the rank of Secretary to the Govt. of Assam.
Shri Sumit Sattawan IAS (RR-2015), District Commissioner, Kamrup (M) is posted as District Commissioner, Kamrup (M) in the rank of Secretary to the Govt. of Assam.
