16 IAS Officers appointed as Secretary at the Centre | The ACC has approved the names of 16 IAS Officers for Secretary Level positions at the centre with Nagendra Nath Sinha IAS (Jharkhand 1987) presently Secretary- Department of Rural Development, Ministry of Rural Development appointed as Officer on Special Duty, Ministry of Steel w,e.f. 01.12.2022. The officer will take over as Secretary, Ministry of Steel vice Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh IAS (MP:87) upon his superannuation on 31.12.2022, Aramane Giridhar IAS(Andhra Pradesh 1988) presently Secretary, MoRTH appointed as Officer on Special Duty, Department of Defence. The officer will take over as Secretary, Department of Defence vice Shri Ajay Kumar IAS (KL:85) upon his superannuation on 31.10.2022 while Vivek Joshi IAS(Haryana 1989) presently Registrar General of India and Census Commissioner, Ministry of Home Affairs as Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance vice Shri Sanjay Malhotra IAS (RJ:90) upon his appointment as Officer on Special Duty, Department of Revenue.

The officer will take over as Secretary, Ministry of Coal vice Shri Anil Kumar Jain IAS (MP:86) upon his superannuation on 31.10.2022, Sanjay Maihotra IAS (RJ:90)presently Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance as Officer on Special Duty, Department of Revenue. The officer will take over as Secretary, Department of Revenue vice Shri Tarun Bajaj IAS (HY:88) upon his superannuation on 30.11.2022, Bhupinder Singh Bhalla IAS (UT:90) currently in the Cadre appointed as Officer on Special Duty, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. The officer will take over as Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy vice Shri Indu Shekhar Chaturvedi IAS (JH:87) upon his superannuation on 31.10.2022 while Sanjay Kumar IAS (BH:90) currently Secretary, Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports as Officer on Special Duty, Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education. The officer will take over as Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy vice Ms. Anita Karwal IAS (GJ:88) upon her superannuation on 30.11.2022.
