He also served as Vice Chairman, Ghaziabad Development Authority (2012–2015) and MD & CEO, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, where he handled urban planning, industrial development and regulatory oversight in rapidly growing urban regions. His tenure in these bodies reflected a structured approach to land use planning and infrastructure expansion.
As Secretary, Infrastructure & Industrial Development Department, Uttar Pradesh, he engaged closely with policy formulation for industrial growth. Earlier, his experience as Commissioner, Food & Civil Supplies, and leadership roles in employment, administrative reforms and basic education further broadened his administrative exposure.
At the district level, Shri Yadav served as District Magistrate in Lalitpur, Pratapgarh and Ghaziabad, and as District Collector in Bareilly. These grassroots assignments grounded his later infrastructure and policy work in field realities. His early roles as Chief Development Officer in multiple districts and Joint Magistrate postings marked the foundation of a career characterised by operational efficiency.
