Sanjeev Shrivastava IAS appointed as DCO/DCR, Madhya Pradesh
Shri Sanjeev Shrivastava IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2011) has been appointed as Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration, Madhya Pradesh (Director level), under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of three years.
Shri Sanjeev Shrivastava, IAS is an accomplished civil servant currently serving as Director of Census Operations (DCO) and Director of Citizen Registration (DCR) under the Registrar General and Census Commissioner of India in the Ministry of Home Affairs. In this crucial role, he oversees census-related activities and the implementation of the National Population Register in Madhya Pradesh, contributing significantly to India’s demographic data systems and policy planning.
Prior to this, he served as Additional Secretary in the Public Works Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, where he was involved in infrastructure development and administrative management. He also held the important field position of Collector in Bhind district, where he managed district administration, land revenue systems, and development programmes.
