Shri Sanjay Singhal IPS (Uttar Pradesh 1993) presently  Special DG- BSF has been appointed as Director General- Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) (Level-16 of Pay Matrix) by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post on or after 01 .09.2025, for a tenure upto the date of his superannuation on 31.12.2028 vice Shri Amrit Mohan Prasad IPS (Odisha 1989) upon his superannuation on 31 .08.2025 .
