Shri Saleem Ahmad has joined NBCC as Director (Project), bringing with him a remarkable 33 years of experience in the construction and infrastructure sector. A distinguished Civil Engineer from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi (1990 batch), Shri Ahmad has made significant contributions to India’s urban infrastructure.
Prior to NBCC, he served as Executive Director (Civil) with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd and held key positions at the Mumbai Port Trust. His career spans the execution of large-scale, multidimensional infrastructure projects, including bridges, tunnels, residential, and commercial buildings.
Shri Ahmad is renowned for his expertise in sustainable infrastructure and urban mobility, having presented papers at various national and international forums. Notably, he played a pivotal role in designing and implementing last-mile connectivity solutions during his 23-year tenure at Delhi Metro, enhancing commuter convenience and operational efficiency.
