Smt. Renu Bhatnagar presently Judicial Officer has been appointed as Judge of Delhi High Court.
Smt. Renu Bhatnagar graduated in 1986 from M.D.U. Rohtak, Haryana and choose to pursue Law as a profession. Completed L.L.B. from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi in 1989. Further, attained L.L.M. degree from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra in year 2005.
She joined the Delhi Judicial Services in year 1992 and promoted to Delhi Higher Judicial Services in August 2003. During the three decade of long service in Judicial Service including about two decades in Higher Judicial Services of Delhi, had held courts in almost all jurisdiction i.e. Civil, Criminal, Labour Laws, Family Courts at various Court complexes i.e Tis Hazari Courts, Patiala House Courts, Karkardooma Courts, Dwarka Courts and Saket Courts. Also served as Joint Registrar on deputation basis for about two years i.e. from September 2005 to September 2007.
In April 2023, joined as Principal Judge, Family Courts (Hqs) and thereafter, promoted as Principal District & Sessions Judge, in May and posted at South-East, Saket, New Delhi.
Currently serving as Principal District & Sessions Judge, Shahdra, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi since 08.06.2023.
