Shri Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, Director (Technical), REC receiving “CBIP Award for Best Power Financing Company” from Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Balyan, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, at CBIP Day Celebrations 2017 held on 29th December 2016 at SCOPE Complex in New Delhi.
REC was conferred with “CBIP Award for Best Power Financing Company” on 29th December 2016, at CBIP Day Celebrations 2017 organized by Central Board of Irrigation & Power (CBIP) in New Delhi. The award was received by Shri Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, Director (Technical), REC from Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Balyan, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation. The ceremony was attended by various dignitaries of Public and Private Sector.
The award was adjudicated by high level jury comprising present and former top executives of organizations like CERC, CEA, CWC, IREDA Ltd, SECI Ltd and Tata power Co. Ltd. The award was given in appreciation of company’s outstanding contribution to financing of nation-wide Power Infrastructure across the entire value chain and spearheading speedy implementation of the Rural Electrification programme for inclusive growth in the country.
