Punjab National Bank celebrated the 69th Republic Day at its newly constructed Head Office, at Sector 10 Dwarka, New Delhi with full gaiety, enthusiasm and pride. Sh. Sunil Mehta, Managing Director & CEO of the Bank hoisted the National Flag. Sh. K.V. Brahmaji Rao, ,Sh Sanjiv Sharan Executive Directors ,Sh Satish. K. Nagpal, Chief Vigilance Officer & other senior officials of the bank were also present on the occasion.
Sh. Sunil Mehta , MD & CEO in his speech called upon the employees to discharge their respective duties with full zeal and vigour and reiterated the need to contribute to the growth of the banks business. He also encouraged everyone to be a part of the digitalization move of government of India & make PNB a wholly digital bank. On this occasion ,the bank introduced Lala Lajpat Rai Award for Bravery in the Bank. The bank also felicitated the players of PNB Hockey Team who have won 4 prestigious tournaments & runners up in two other prestigious tournament during the year 2017-18.
Punjab National Bank also organized a CSR activity under the banner of PNB Prerna. On this occasion, Dr Jayanti Mehta ,President PNB Prerna, Smt Srilakshmi K Rao, Smt Bindu Sharan Vice Presidents & other members distributed School Bags, stationery items, school shoes, food items etc to the children of Don Bosco Ashalayam, Palam Village, New Delhi.
