Shri Puneet Aggarwal IAS (Tripura 1998) presently Joint Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Defence, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto 24.10.2021 vice Shri V Anandarajan IRS (IT 1988) .
