Dr Promila Gupta presently Additional Director General of Health Service takes charge as the DGHS (Directorate General Of Health Services) (officer incharge) in the Health Ministry from April 2. She will succeed Dr B D Athani, currently incharge of the DGHS office.
“Dr Promila Gupta, Additional DGHS, Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is appointed as DGHS (officer incharge) with effect from April 2 or from the date of assumption of charge of the post of the DGHS, whichever is later, till she attains the age of 62 years or till further orders,” said an office order.
