Ministry of Women and Child Development appointed Ms. Preeti Madan, IES 1981, as the new Member Secretary in National Commission for Women. She replaces Ms. Nandita Chaterjee, IAS of WB;1980 cadre. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Madan was Joint Secretary in Ministry of Minority Affairs.
