The General Body meeting of Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India Ltd. (TRIFED) was held on 25th May 2018 in which the 11th Board of Directors was reconstituted and the Office Bearers were elected unanimously. Ms Pratibha Brahma was elected as the Vice Chairperson of TRIFED. MD TRIFED, Shri Pravir Krishna, welcomed the new members and expressed the hope that with the new leadership, TRIFED will continue its march on the road to tribal empowerment.
The new Board of Directors committed to take forward the vision of TRIFED of overall development for tribal people of India through sustainable and comprehensive marketing support of their products and achieving convergence and coherence with other development partners working in this field to enhance their income and improve the quality of their life.
