Prashanth Baji Rao Patil IFS appointed DFO – Nizamabad, Telangana
Shri Prashanth Baji Rao Patil IFS (Telangana 2019), presently District Forest Officer, Adilabad, has been transferred and posted as District Forest Officer – Nizamabad, Telangana, in place of Shri Sidharth Vikram Singh IFS.
An officer of the 2019 batch of the Indian Forest Service, Shri Prashanth Baji Rao Patil has been serving as District Forest Officer, Adilabad. His present assignment has involved the administration of forest resources, implementation of conservation measures and supervision of forest department activities in the district.
With the latest order, Shri Patil has been transferred and posted as District Forest Officer, Nizamabad. The new assignment places him in charge of the district-level forest administration and related conservation responsibilities.
As DFO, Shri Patil will be responsible for supervising field formations, implementing forest protection and conservation programmes and coordinating with senior officers and other government agencies on matters relating to forest administration.
His experience in Adilabad is expected to be valuable in handling the new responsibility. The transfer forms part of the wider reshuffle in the Telangana Forest Department, involving changes in the postings of several District Forest Officers.
Shri Patil succeeds Shri Sidharth Vikram Singh IFS, who has been transferred and posted as District Forest Officer, Bhadradri Kothagudem.
The new assignment provides Shri Prashanth Baji Rao Patil an opportunity to contribute his administrative and field experience to the management of forest resources and departmental responsibilities in Nizamabad.
